Planning infrastructure for an uncertain world

One history.
Many possible futures.

Timecone.ai is building the foundation for enterprises to preserve, compute, compare, and govern multiple plausible futures—without pretending that uncertainty has disappeared.

Scroll to explore

Most planning systems force uncertainty into one forecast, one scenario, or one approved version of the future.

Timecone.ai starts from a different premise: the goal is not one version of the future, but one governed system for evaluating many plausible futures. Different assumptions can remain visible long enough to be tested, compared, and improved. Decisions can be made with their reasoning intact.

The calculation engine

ChronoCone

ChronoCone is the deterministic engine at the center of Timecone.ai. It represents plans as governed calculations across branching time, giving automated systems, human planners, and AI agents a shared foundation for reasoning about what could happen next.

01

Branch without losing history

Maintain alternative futures from a shared record, so different assumptions can be explored without duplicating or rewriting the past.

02

Compute deterministically

Turn each set of assumptions and decisions into a reproducible calculation whose inputs, logic, and consequences can be examined.

03

Govern the reasoning

Give people and AI a common, auditable substrate for proposing, comparing, and revising plans without surrendering control to a black box.

Reason over the ontology; compute over the data.

The people behind Timecone.ai

Built by people who have planned, scaled, and governed consequential systems.

Kevin Finley

Founder

Kevin is a supply-chain systems leader and longtime ontology practitioner. At Amazon, he led planning systems that produced more than 50,000 plans per day and were credited with more than $14 billion in savings. He founded Timecone.ai to make many-futures planning practical, governed, and auditable.

Douglas Thomae, PhD

Principal Engineer

Doug has spent four decades building planning, data, distributed, and safety-critical systems at Amazon, Tableau, and other technology companies. He and Kevin previously worked together on Amazon planning systems. He brings that shared experience and deep architectural judgment to ChronoCone's deterministic foundation.

David Reed, PhD

Advisor

David designs and ships production agentic AI for high-stakes environments. His work centers on multi-agent systems, evaluation, governance, and auditability. A computer scientist, Wharton MBA, and named inventor on two U.S. patents, he advises Timecone.ai on the governed role of AI.
